Four Atlantic City Casinos Now Licensed To Provide Online Gambling + Poker

After the Borgata Casino became the first Atlantic City casino to be awarded an online gaming license by the State of New Jersey, the floodgates have opened as three more casinos have been given permission to offer regulated Internet gambling to New Jersey residents + guests – The Golden Nugget, The Trump Plaza, and The Trump Taj Mahal are all getting set to officially be part of the NJ online gaming launch to come in late November.

Actually, that date is set as the soft-launch gambling sites that accept NJ residents will occur on November 21st with the official grand opening coming days later on the 26th barring no major errors.

How many more will get their license before the actual launch?

Well, there are eight more casinos in Atlantic City which are likely slated to get a license to permit online gaming. Many of these casinos are the ones that have paired with major online poker companies such as the PokerStars + Resorts pairing as an example.

Once these go online, New Jersey will join Nevada as the only other state to have real money online gambling even though Nevada currently only has online poker available. Also worth noting, Delaware already had free online casino games and other types of gambling online which are run by what will be officially regulated operators when it comes time for Delaware’s Internet gaming launch.

This will also put the industry to the forefront of the news and other U.S. States will be sure to take notice of the result. Many largely populated states like California, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Florida and especially New York will be taking note – added revenue for the states in this economy is a definite plus in any scenario.
