CRIPPLE CREEK, Colo. – On Wednesday, 888 Holdings announced that they will be entering the sports betting markets of Colorado, Iowa, and Indiana in 2021. The provisions included in their market access deals mention online casinos if those states formally legalize the use of them.

The multi-year legal gambling deal made in Colorado was with Colorado Grande Casino which is located in Cripple Creek.

When it comes to Iowa, 888 Holdings will utilize the license of Catfish Bend Casinos II LLC. In Indiana, 888 signed a deal with Harrah’s Hoosier Park.

"We are delighted to sign these agreements with three great partners - the Colorado Grande Casino, Catfish Bend Casino II LLC, and Harrah's Hoosier Park - that will enable 888 to bring its first-class online sportsbook to bettors in Colorado, Iowa and Indiana,” said Itai Pazner, the CEO of 888. “The U.S. online betting and gaming market has huge growth potential, and we continue to build a strong platform for growth across both our B2B and B2C operations.”

An exact date for 888Sport, the company’s sports betting arm, to launch in these states is still undetermined.

888 Holdings currently operates in Nevada, New Jersey, and Delaware. However, the company intends to keep expanding to capture the ever-growing legal sports betting market.

"Expanding 888Sport.com into these three states represents another major milestone in our ongoing growth across the regulated U.S. online gaming market,” said Yaniv Sherman, SVP Head of Commercial Development at 888. “We have deployed our proprietary technology in the U.S., and our exciting pipeline of new products will deliver industry-leading propositions to customers across both our B2B and B2C operations. We continue to appraise strategic partnerships that will provide additional brand-building and market access opportunities for 888 across the U.S. market in the near future."

Revenue for 888 Holdings is projected to be 45% higher this year than it was last year despite the ongoing pandemic. The company should be heading into these states with capital and momentum up launch.
